Rolling Hills Run

South Gippsland, Victoria.

Another great run, albeit in some challenging weather conditions with howling wind and heavy rain, especially braved by those in open top cars. The roads were terrific with some exciting twisty sections and the odd fallen tree across the road to negotiate.

From the cosy morning tea at Red Duck Café in Noojee we saw a stunning forest section opening up into some fast and sweeping sections where the rain reached its heaviest! A fab effort through this emerged the majestic Lagonda Rapide and the beautiful AC Ace, very fast cars and a handful I bet in these conditions.

We arrived at the Koonwarra Store for a very well earned dry off and superb lunch which included a seasonal plater of the local South Gippsland produce, lunch of choice and a dessert plater to really slow us down! Full bellies and many miles of spirited driving behind us we all headed for home. Thanks again to all who entered.
